Introducing ProKennex’s standard-shaped all-court paddle that takes the Black Ace line into a new generation, the ProKennex Kinetic Black Ace 14 Pickleball Paddle. This paddle builds on the legendary reputation of the Black Ace by slightly altering the shape of the old “Pro”, creating a new Carbon Fire hitting surface, and molding a new tapered handle that is small and controllable. This handle measures in at 5.3” long, leaving room for a 10.6” by 8” Carbon Fire hitting surface. This supercharged Toray Carbon Fiber hitting surface maintains the rigidity for longer time and texture for spin that the old surface provided, while infusing it with exceptional rebound for added pop and power on every strike.
The 16-inch, compression molded, ProKennex Kinetic Black Ace 14 Pickleball Paddle makes sure not to drift too far from its roots by bringing back the 14mm polypropylene core and Kinetic Shock Absorption System. While the honeycomb core offers an expanded sweet spot and a soft feel, the Kinetic System, which expands into the tapered handle, eats up additional vibrations to limit fatigue and arm damage so that we can dominate from anywhere on the court all day long.
An independent study by MIT Labs found that the ProKennex’s Kinetic system reduced vibration by 43%, causing significantly less damage to the arm.
